The EVduty-40 electric vehicle charging station is the perfect charger for your residence. The EVduty-40 is compatible with all plug-in vehicles (100% electric or plug-in hybrids) sold in North America (SAE J1772MD, lasting over 10 000 charging cycles). With a 25-foot-long cable and ability to withstand temperatures of -40C to 40C, The EVduty-40 is perfect for indoor or outdoor installation. The EVduty-40 is manufactured in Canada by Elmec Inc.
Brilliant Lighting Solutions will provide full installation, from installing the circuit, to mounting the charging station.
Average installation by our certified electricians will range from $400 to $900.
200 amp service is required, extra charges will apply to upgrade service to 200 amps, or if the electrical panel is not on an outside wall extra charges may apply.
The Elmec design team has developed a robust pedestal for 2 EVduty 240V / 30Amps charging stations. Product offered for commercial or residential use (ex: multi housing). The pedestal, made of painted steel, supports two EVduty charging stations and two plug holsters with integrated cable rest. The pedestal is fixed to the ground by 4 anchor points that become inaccessible once the rear panel is installed (with anti-vandal screws).
It will be possible to set the charging stations in load-sharing mode by installing the smart charging station upgrade, which will be available soon and will allow, among other things, to access charging via the EVduty application.
